Affidavits Drafted at the Consular Section

 

In order to expedite the processing of affidavits to be drafted at the Consular Section applicants are advised to send beforehand an exact copy, in electronic word document format, of the required affidavit along with a scanned completed legalization application (select the link to get the form) via email to the following address habib.habib@nylebcons.org.

 

Complete a legalization application (select the link to get the form)  and enclose the following:

·         Valid passport, Lebanese identification card (I.D.), or family/individual ikhraj kayd issued within the last 10 years and a copy of the said document.

·         Fees: $15.00 for each signatory and for those whom she/he/they are representing (only cash or money orders payable to the Consulate General of Lebanon are accepted).

·         Certified self-addressed and stamped envelope for return (no return fees are accepted) if the documents are to be returned by mail.

 

 

 

Legalization of Affidavits not Drafted at the Consular Section

 

All affidavits not drafted at the Consular Section should:

  1. Include the names, dates and places of birth, addresses and telephone numbers of the signatories.

  2. Be legalized by a notary public, then signed by the county clerk wherever required (New York State), and later authenticated by the Secretary of the State where the affidavit is drafted.

 

Legalization at the Consular Section

Complete a legalization application (select the link to get the form) and enclose the following:

·         Affidavit legalized by a notary public, then signed by the county clerk wherever required (New York State), and later authenticated by the Secretary of the State where the affidavit is drafted, and a copy of the said documents.

·         Valid passport, Lebanese identification card (I.D.), or family/individual ikhraj kayd issued within the last 10 years and a copy of the said document.

·         Fees: $15.00 for each signatory and for those whom she/he/they are representing (only cash or money orders payable to the Consulate General of Lebanon are accepted).

·         Certified self-addressed and stamped envelope for return (no return fees are accepted) if the documents are to be returned by mail.

 

Legalization via certified mail

Complete a legalization application (select the link to get the form)  and enclose the following:
