Memo to all Lebanese Citizens in the Northeastern U.S., Concerning their Vote in the Elections from March 31, 2017, to March 30, 2018

The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities is currently undertaking the necessary arrangements that will enable Lebanese citizens residing in the Northeastern U.S. to vote in the elections that will take place from March 31, 2017, to March 30, 2018, at the Consulate General of Lebanon in New York, in compliance with Law Number 25 dated 10/8/2008.
In order to qualify to register, the listing procedure must be fulfilled by no later than December 31, 2016.
Please note that the required document to register is a Lebanese national identity card or a valid Lebanese passport. We call upon all Lebanese citizens residing in the Northeastern U.S. who wish to cast their votes at the Consulate, to proceed as follows:

 1. In Person: register your names by appearing in person at the Consulate, providing all the required information related to your identity and number of civil registry.

2. Via mail: if you’re not able to appear in person at the Consulate, you can fill out the attached affidavit and have it notarized at a notary public and then send it to the Consulate with a copy of your Lebanese identity document (Hawiyye [both sides]/ikhraj kayd) or passport.
